Australian passport and Notarial service fees increase
The Consulate General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City announced that passport and Notarial service fees will increase on 1 January 2017. All services will be provided by appointment only from 1 January 2017.
Passport fees will increase in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) as of 1 January 2017.
Prices will be as follows (all prices in Australian dollars):

Notarial service fees will also increase on 1 January 2017 following a recommendation from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Functional and Efficiency Review. These fees have not increased for 16 years. From 2018 onwards, they will increase annually, as passports do, in line with the CPI published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Passport and Notarial services will be provided by appointment only. From 1 January 2017, appointments for these services will need to be made at the website of the Consulate General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City. All fees are payable in Vietnamese Dong only.
