Vietnam - Japan Friendship Song project “Tomodachi – Friendship” organized in Can Tho City

 On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of estabishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973 - 2023), the Special Committee commemorating the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam under the Japanese Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City will deploy the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Song project "Tomodachi - Friendship" from September to December, 2023 across provinces and cities in Vietnam. The best five candidates will be invited to come to Japan to join in a cultural exchange program and sing in choirs with Japanese children. In Can Tho City, the live audition will take place at 9:00 October 1^st, 2023 at Van Phat Riverside Restaurant.

Contestants are Vietnamese children and teenagers , aged from 6 to 22 years old, who can participate directly in five cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh and  Can Tho or online by sending the performing clip to the address: infor.tomodachi@gmail.com. Competition rules are solo in the language of Vietnamese and/or Japanese.

The friendship song "Tomodachi - Friendship" is about equal friendship, regardless of distance, age, ethnicity, skin color, as long as we are  unanimous and understand each other, we will create a wonderful world, peaceful and happy. Through this project, the Organizer hopes that the above spirit will be widely spread to the people of the two countries, especially the younger generation to raise awareness and continue to promote and inherit the good friendship between Vietnam and Japan at the present and in the future.
