Fulbright Vietnamese Student Program, academic year 2023-2024

The U.S. Embassy in Hanoi has sent the information on the fully-funded Fulbright Vietnamese Student Program for the academic year 2023-2024. This annual program from the U.S. government offers 20 scholarships for potential candidates. The scholarship covers tuition and fees, monthly stipend, round-trip airfare to the United States, and health insurance for the entire program duration.

The Fulbright Program supports study in most fields of social sciences and humanities, and economics including American Studies, American Literature, Education and Education Administration, Communications, Law, Urban Planning, Journalism, International Relations, Social Work, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health, Library Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, English Teaching, Gender and Development, Development Studies, etc.

Candidates must be a Vietnamese citizen with no dual citizenship, have at least one undergraduate degree, and at least two years of work experience after graduation by the time of application, have a valid minimum TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5, PTE-Academic 58 or Duolingo 105.

Candidates are requested to complete the online application and include two essays of study objective and personal statement, three letters of recommendation, transcript and degree for each higher education institution that the candidate has attended, a valid test score report of TOEFL/IELTS/PTE-Academic/ Duolingo, and a Curriculum Vitae.

The deadline for application is 5:00 PM Vietnam time, May 15, 2022.
