Opening Ceremony of the Conference on Regional Spokesman in Can Tho city

In the morning, on August 21, 2014, in Can Tho city, the Conference on Regional Spokesman co-hosted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Can Tho city People's Committee with the theme "International integration for sustainable development, the role of localities". There were more than 100 participants from 13 cities and provinces in the Mekong Delta region. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and Vice Chairman of the Can Tho city People's Committee Truong Quang Hoai Nam attended the opening ceremony.

This conference was held in 02 days (21 & 22/8/2014) with two main topics:

- The major features on international economic relations and the problems faced as international integration for sustainable development.

- The role of localities, enterprises in extensive international integration.

The speakers presenting at the conference were senior officials or experienced ones in the field of international cooperation, such as Dr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Director of Centre for Economic and Policy Research, National Economics University, a member of the advisory group to the Prime Minister, the leaders from the Department of multilateral Economic Cooperation, Department of General Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department for Strategic Studies of  Foreign Affairs Institute. /.
