RoK Consulate General Opened in Da Nang City

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RoK (Republic of Korea) is proceeding with its plan to open the Consulate General in Da Nang city, a famous tourist destination located in the central Vietnam.

Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) on August 20th quoted an official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that since the number of Korean tourists to Da Nang has surged recently, the Ministry has considered the launching of a new Consulate General office in the city.

The RoK Ministry of Foreign Affairs is urgently discussing the above issue with relevant agencies in charge of budget and administrative matters. If all steps related to budget, human resource, location, facilities are proceeded under schedule, the RoK Consulate General in Da Nang city could be opened by the second half of next year.
