DPM receives Algerian newly-appointed Ambassador
The Vietnamese Government and its relevant ministries and agencies will support the Ambassador to complete his tasks, contributing to the multi-lateral relationship between the two countries, asserted the Deputy PM.
He spoke of the positive development in the two nations' relations over the recent years, especially the two-way trade turnover that hit nearly US$250 million in 2014.
The two sides discussed measures to promote the bilateral cooperation, agreeing to exchange delegations at all levels, closely cooperate at international and regional forums and speed up cooperation in advantageous areas such as oil and gas, trade, investment and labor.
Deputy PM Minh appraised the contribution of the Ambassador to the success of PM Nguyen Tan Dung's recent visit to Algeria, proposing the two nations prepare for the 11th meeting of the Inter-Governmental Committee in early 2016.
He invited the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to pay an official visit to Viet Nam.
The Algerian Ambassador committed to sparing no effort to expand the bilateral cooperation with Viet Nam through high-ranking delegation exchanges as well as contributing to the mutual support between the two countries at international organizations and multi-lateral forums.
