CULTURAL AND TRADE ACTIVITIES TO BE HELD IN CAN THO
Activities to boost tourism and investment opportunities will be organised in the end of April in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, announced Head of the municipal Office Nguyen Quang Nghi on April 15.
Accordingly, more than 150 kinds of traditional cakes and foods will be exhibited in 100 booths at the Southern Folk Cake Festival 2015, which is slated to be held from April 27 to May 1st .
Meanwhile, the Mekong Expo 2015 trade fair will take place at the Can Tho International Exhibition Fair Centre from April 27 to May 2nd .
On display at the event will be machinery and equipment serving agricultural and industrial production, wooden products and handicrafts for export.
The city will also organise the Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week from June 18-24, expected to contribute to thestrong development of Mekong Delta tourism looking forward.
