China has piloted the reopening of group tours in Vietnam from March 15

The Chinese Government has decided to add Vietnam to its list of countries for reopening of  group tours. This is the second phase of the northern neighbor's pilot program for reopening outbound group tours.

From March 15^th 2023, Vietnam was one of the countries prioritized for China resuming direct air routes with passengers being allowed to  use antigen test results (including self-testing with test kits) instead of PCR tests or use test results within 48 hours before departure to conduct customs declaration. Airlines are  no longer check passengers' PCR or antigen testing results 48 hours before flight.

China also hopes to continue to work closely with the country in terms of ensuring the legitimate rights of tourists./.
