Alpha Club Musashino Co. Ltd. to explore investment opportunity in Can Tho

In the afternoon of November 17, 2023, Chairman Tran Viet Truong hosted a meeting session with Mr. Miyagawa, General Director of Alpha Club Musashino Co. Ltd. and his team members.

Alpha Club Musashino Co. Ltd. was founded in 1964 and it is currently one of the leading companies organizing weddings, funerals, and other events in Japan with 90 branches all over Japan.  According to Mr. Miyagawa, Alpha Club Musashino organizes approximately 10,000 funerals per year in Japan, and it is expected that from now to 2040, the tendency would be more funerals being organized than weddings due to the aging population in the country. Moreover, young Japanese people tend to register for marriage later in their lives, and the majority of them does not organize a wedding. Therefore, Alpha Club Musashino Co. Ltd. could see positive opportunity to invest in Vietnam, especially in Can Tho, the center of Mekong Delta area which has a younger population and a lot of potentials for wedding organization.

For his part, Chairman Tran Viet Truong shared his delights to welcome the delegation to Can Tho City and its intention to develop in Vietnam and Can Tho. The city leader asked the Department of Construction to present some locations suggested to Alpha Club Musashino Co. Ltd. for its project, and also recommended the company to have site visits to the venues. In addition, the city leader also mentioned the strategic location of Can Tho and its role as the economic motivation for the Mekong Delta; therefore, an international-standard center in the city would be crucial not only to  organize weddings but also other major events such as conferences.
