Can Tho Oncology Hospital Project is a priority of the Hungarian government
On the morning of June 28, Mr. Le Quang Manh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee had a meeting with Ms. Katalin Bihari, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.
Accompanying Mr. Le Quang Manh are representatives of leaders of the Can Tho City Party Committee Office, representatives of Vietnamese agencies in Hungary. On the Hungarian side, there were representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Water Resources and ODA loans.
Congratulating Ms. Katalin Bihari on her newly appointment as the Deputy Minister of External Economic Relations, Secretary of Can Tho City Party Committee Le Quang Manh thanked the Hungarian Government for always considering Vietnam a priority partner in its international development assistance policy (ODA). Some projects use Hungarian ODA loans and are bringing socio-economic benefits to Vietnam such as the project to build a residential management system, the project of domestic water supply in Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province, etc. Currently, the two sides are actively promoting the implementation of the Can Tho Oncology Hospital Project using Hungarian ODA loans.
Deputy Minister Katalin Bihari congratulated the high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam for having a successful working program and believed that the meeting between National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban would get many achievements.
Appreciating the active cooperation of the Vietnamese side over the past time in the implementation of the Can Tho Oncology Hospital Project, Ms. Katalin Bihari affirmed that the project is a priority focus of the Hungarian government in ODA cooperation with Vietnam. The two sides agreed to work closely to soon complete the legal and technical framework to accelerate the completion of the Project.
