"Impression of Jeollanamdo – Republic of Korea" contest

The Department of External Relations and the Youth Union of Can Tho city cooperated to organize the contest "Impression of Jeollanamdo - Republic of Korea" on social networks in 2022 for youth union officials, youth union members, and high school students and students of colleges and universities in Can Tho from October 10 to November 15, 2022.

The event is sponsored by the Jeollanamdo Trade Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City with the aim of creating a playground for youth union officials and youth union members, creating conditions for young people to learn and exchange cultures with Jeollanamdo, which is the locality signing the Memorandum of Understanding with Can Tho city in 2012. It is expected that this activity shall contribute to enhance the understanding of the cooperative relationship between Can Tho city and Jeollanamdo province as well as the foreign relations between Vietnam and Republic of Korea in general, making practical contributions to commemorative activities for the 30th anniversary of Vietnam - Republic of Korea diplomatic relations (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2022).

The contest theme revolves around the content of knowledge or impressions of nature and cultural heritage, tourist attractions, culinary culture, festivals, and products produced in Jeollanamdo, as well as the relationship between Can Tho and Jeollanamdo and the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Republic of Korea.

After completing some simple contest entry procedures, contestants of the submit their products by video files or writing articles directly via email cuocthiantuongmxh@gmail.com by November 15, 2022. Entries will be posted on Tay Do Youth Fanpage and will be evaluated based on the criteria of views, likes, quality of articles, images, creativity, completeness and meaningful content. The winning work will be announced at the Korean Culture Day event in Can Tho city on November 21, 2022 with a maximum prize of up to 10 million VND accompanied by a Certificate of Merit from the Can Tho Youth Union and Certificate of Merit from the Jeollanamdo Trade Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City.
