Scholarship Grant Opportunities for International Courses in Israel
As announced by Israeli Ambassador Meirav Eilon Shahar at the courtesy call to Mr. Le Hung Dung – Chairman of the People's Committee on 27th August, 2014, Israeli government through the Embassy of Israel to Hanoi is now calling for interested candidates to apply for its scholarship program to pursue various courses provided by prestigious universities and institutes in Israel.
The scholarship program aims at helping countries establishing diplomatic relationship with Israel in capacity building and experience share and exchange. In addition, successful candidates – who work for government institutions, national and/or international organizations, research institutes, national/regional projects, universities, NGO - from these countries are offered wonderful chances to develop their capacity, enrich their knowledge and skills with the latest advances in soil conservation and rehabilitation; watershed management; improvement of water use in agriculture; agriculture; forestry and afforestation; drought preparedness; remote sensing and metrology fields. In addition, attending these courses will enable them to get to know Israel's experience, research, development policies and action plans in these areas.
Successful candidates are provided tuition fees, meals and accommodation in Israel during the study period. Return air-tickets are not covered by the program, but rather than from the candidates' own arrangement.
